Excellent stay, very rustic and unique building! Comfortable beds/furniture, super cool bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and stay again! Right in the middle of downtown Casey, perfect!
Fantastic staff, very big comfortable room. Great place to stay! A very nice place to spend a few days and enjoy the town. Many Big sites to see, visited antique shops, enjoyed leisurely walk around town. Fabulous city park. Visited the nearby Legendary famous hamburger spots located out in the middle of nowhere. Highly recommend, forget the big chain hotels. This is the place to stay!
The hotel was wonderful, we stayed in the “Gryffindor” themed room and my family absolutely LOVED it. Very clean, towels were large and very soft. Check in and check out was a breeze. The room was cool, temperature wise (it was hot and humid), they also provided fans, which I am a person that NEEDS a fan to sleep so that made me extra comfortable. Beds were nice and comfortable. Highly recommended staying at here if you are visiting Casey for any amount of time.
This sleepover was in an old historic building in downtown Casey Illinois. The rooms were the perfect balance between old and new. The service was friendly and always with a smile. A full kitchen downstairs that can be used by guest and a cool elevator to bring your luggage to the second floor. Being located in downtown made it walking distance to most of the attractions. I highly recommend a sleepover in this hotel.
Very beautiful stay! Responsive staff and easy check in. We had the loft room which fit the 4 of us perfectly. The room was very clean and with a unique design. My kids really enjoyed the loft space and spiral stairs. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to visit the beautiful town!
Perfectly situated in the middle of town! Family of 5 visited - kiddos LOVED sleeping in the loft. Historic building with steep stairs. 1st floor to 2nd there are 24 steep stairs, putting fear in this heavier, 65 year old woman, but they weren't bad at all. I even did the next flight up to 3rd floor room. Sparcely furnished room with antiques, perfectly sized, leaving ample space for all your things. Loved the character of all the creaking floors. Bed and linens very nice and cozy. Remember to close the shutters unless you are an early riser. Enjoyed the rain head shower WITH the handheld faucet. The cupboards on each floor for coffee in the morning was convenient - as the coffee shop opens @7am. Powdered cream is tough, but better than none. However "mini-moo" creamer are shelf stable and affordable, just a suggestion . We created a riddling, scavenger hunt, as our kiddos are tweens/teens. They loved it! I can't think of anything else to say other than the facility is nice, comfy, convenient, worth the visit... Oh and the train doesn't pass often... LOL
My family and I stayed at this wonderful, unique hotel last night. The room was just like the picture. Lots of space for everyone with the upstairs loft. We loved the modern amenities with the charming spiral staircase. The bed was super comfortable and the towels really soft. It was a fantastic start to our family trip. We also loved the quaint town and fun attractions. Would definitely recommend!
Great little place to stay! Spacious rooms and fantastic staff! I accidentally booked the wrong night and didn't realize it until day before. They graciously adjusted everything for me with no extra fees. Room had a fridge and a microwave and coffee maker were located in the hall on each floor. Trains do go through often but the last train went through about 10:30-11 and then the rest of the night was quiet. Rooms have a remote for temp control but I don't think it was working. Room did have a fan though. Woke up in the morning to a very stuffy room. Windows could use roller shades in addition to curtains since it is downtown with lots of light. We stayed on the 3rd floor. They have a small 1 person exterior shaft elevator to second floor. It was out of service during our stay but they contacted us ahead of time to let us know. It wasn't a problem for us. Overall great non chain hotel place to stay! Located in the middle of town which makes getting to everything super easy! Would stay here again if ever back out that way.
